Welcome to the Institutional Research homepage of Zane State College. Our endeavor is to provide you information about our college. For convenient navigation, the information is clustered into several areas. Currently, the following areas are available on-line:

1. Student demographics (age, gender, race, residence, high school, veterans)
2. 1st Time Enrollment (1st time students by; Post-Secondary, REACH, recent high school graduates, ACCUPlacer scores)
3. Registration (headcount, FTE, credit hours, enrollment by major and campus, enrollment including Belmont, Tech Prep)
4. Transfers (concurrent enrollment, credit transfers, mobility)
5. Academic Performance ( GPA, grades, DEAL, graduation rates, graduate placement)
6. Financial Aid (average amount awarded, types of aid)
7. Human Resources (faculty, staff)

Data on the following areas will be put on the website in a phased manner:

1. Business office (financial statements, student fee structure, viability ratios)
2. Non-credit enrollment (business and industry enrollment)
3. Physical resources (buildings, classrooms)

Under each cluster, the information is divided further into sub-sections. For example, the demographic information contains age, gender, residence, high school, and other information for the students by the quarter they have joined. The quarterly information is grouped together (for example, data for all Fall quarters is grouped together) to construct trend lines when applicable.  Yearly totals are a tabulation of the fall through summer quarters.

The data is reported from Fall 2003 onwards. Some of the information is updated every quarter (student registration) while other information is updated annually. The data is provided in tables and graphs for easy interpretation.
