STARS (Student Admissions Representatives)

STARS (Student Admissions Representatives) consist of a small group of students (13 – 17) who act as role models and ambassadors of the college. STARS give campus tours, assist with a variety of activities such as College Day, Teacher’s Expo, and hosts for Welcome Tables.

Students participating in the STARS program earn $7.00 per hour. The program is funded by The Ohio Appalachian Center for Higher Education.

Becoming a STAR
Potential Student Admissions Representatives must meet the following criteria:

• High School Graduate
• High School GPA of 2.5
• Zane State College Freshman
• Zane State college GPA of 2.5
• Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality
